My name is Madeleine Brummitt Parks & I am based in Middle Tennessee. I am involved in the beauty world in many aspects. I am a traveling hairstylist, makeup artist, pageant, modeling, and interview consultant, & I also offer other beauty services, such as lash extensions, lash/brow tinting, as well as spray tans.
I first became interested in becoming a makeup artist from my friend, mentor, & fellow makeup artist, DeLaney Henry. I have assisted & learned from DeLaney for years. I credit her for my passion & drive to become a makeup artist.
I am a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in special event hair styling. I received my hair styling training from Tennessee College of Applied Technology. In the Spring of 2017, I competed at the Tennessee Skills USA Esthetics contest & placed 3rd in the areas of beauty & fantasy character makeup. I completed the Advanced Makeup Artist program at Academy of Make Up Arts in Nashville, TN. I offer a range of beauty looks from bold and glamorous, to subtle and soft. I am trained in beauty, commercial, bridal, male grooming makeup, basic special effects, periodic makeup & hair styling. I have volunteered my hair & makeup styling services at a 2016 vintage fashion show for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused or neglected children), 2014 & 2017 Miss Fabulous Pageant for girls with special needs. I was a makeup artist at the 2016 Magic Moments Bridal Show in Cookeville, TN & was selected to be the official makeup artist for the 2018 Magic Moments Bridal Show. I have been working for a Nashville based bridal styling team, Nashville Wedding Stylist, since 2018.
As a former pageant competitor, I have received local, state, and national titles along with awards in modeling, platform/community service, and interview. These awards include, but are not limited to, The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze community service award, Miss Parsons Teen Interview Award for the Miss America Organization, ANSB national interview, platform & casual modeling award.
